Stay Away from Gambling

Recently I received a forwarded email from a friend. It was about a guy who screw up his life gambling. I feel lucky for him cause he is only 30 years old. He still have another 25 years to make a come back. I wish him all the best and hope that he will never make his previous mistake again. It makes me thinking is share trading is also gambling as they is no 1 formula or way that can guarantee 100% winning in share trading, especially to win in KLSE stocks which most of them is 100% controlled and manipulated by the stock operators. For me, only times will tell.

Stay away from online gambling I AM 30 years old and have been working in a sales company for the past 11 years. I lead a humble but normal life in Kuala Lumpur. I wrote this letter just to tell you the biggest mistake that I have made. A few months back, I met an old schoolmate who introduced me to an on-line casino game where I could win RM200 a day by just spending a few hours a day. And so I started to gamble. Yes, I did win each day in the beginning. The money was so easy to earn that I started neglecting my job, hiding from my girlfriend and spending hours each day on the computer to bet. My life turned bad. I started cheating and telling lies. From the second week onwards, I started to lose money. When you start losing, you will tell yourself that you want to win back what you have lost and the hole gets bigger each day. Finally, I lost a total of RM150,000! Now my credit card is maxed out, I owe friends everywhere, and I have no mood to work. From a non-smoker, I smoke three packs a day. I hardly eat anything and I have sleepless nights. What’s going to be my future? What if my girlfriend finds out that I gamble? Will she still marry me? I feel really regretful about what I’ve done. I have tried many ways to get out of this debt, such as taking a bank loan, refinancing my car and house but it’s of no help.This schoolmate of mine even asked me to find more gamblers to bet online so that I can earn commissions and pay my debt.I cried while writing this letter because I don’t know what will happen tomorrow. To all readers, please take heed, a wrong step can ruin your entire life.
